No, not me. My brother turned 22 a couple of days ago. How exciting? Probably the first birthday he remembers. Due to his broken wrist, nothing extravagant was planned. However, it was still a cute celebration.

We decided to go to Long Beach after church for some brunch at Turning Point. The food was as good as it looks in those pictures below. Trust me. My plate was loaded with potatoes, eggs, salsa, and sausage. I tried their frozen hot chocolate and, to be honest, I wasn't a fan. It was super watery. I wasn't sure if that was the taste or that's what happens when you try to freeze hot chocolate. The food made up for the disappointing drink so I was pretty content.

For those who are thinking "who wears heels to the beach," I decided to wear heels because I knew we weren't going to the actually beach. Plus, it looked cute with my outfit so...

I never thought I could rock wide-legged bell bottom pants, but I think I don't look that bad in it. Why did I think I couldn't rock bell bottoms? Because wide-legged bottoms usually make short people look shorter. Since these pants are super high-waisted, it helped lengthen my silhouette -- obviously the heels added to it too. Paired these pants with a tribal patterned crop top from ASOS. Grabbed my mom's shopper bag from Aldo and threw on those ridiculously higher-than-my-GPA platforms. Night-time outfit with beachy vibes.

Note To Self: Find more themed brunch places.

Sk8er Boi used to be my favorite song ever. I absolutely loved Avril as well. She's partly the reason why I dressed like a boy until middle school.

It's summer and these pictures were obviously not taken recently. Judging by my puffy coat, printed sweater, and leggings, I took these pictures in the midst of winter. Why am I writing about it now? 1. I really like these pictures. 2. I really like my outfit. 3. My boss keeps nagging me about writing blog posts and I felt like writing tonight so...Hi, Marcus. If you are reading, I hope you're happy.

I've always appreciated the urban skateboarder. From their cool, calm, collected personalities to their fashion sense, I'm always inspired by their lifestyle. I tried skateboarding myself. I only ended up knowing how to kick and push. And when I tried to ollie, the skateboard would go an inch up in the air. Now, I just longboard because my coordination limits me to just cruising.

The tropical/jungle/leaf print is definitely one of the most popular pattern in you'll find in this type of style. I feel like the typical silhouette most urban skateboarders go for is loose top and skinny bottoms. Have you ever seen a skateboarder wearing bootcut jeans? Exactly. Their tops are usually dashiki-fit patterned or logo tee shirts. This is why what I am wearing is perfect. I pretty much nailed it. I decided to add some cohesiveness to the outfit by slipping on a pair of striped sports socks. Sports trim on the sweater, sports stripes on my socks! I kept everything black because I wanted the main focus to be my sweater. I did fail to do one thing. What skateboarder wears adidas running shoes?

Note To Self: adidas Elements shoes are not meant for skateboarding but, more importantly, running.

So I went to Montauk last Sunday to have a little picnic and see the lighthouse. After the 3 hour drive, I got to see the beautiful landscape. It was really nice and the land erosion, which created cliffs, only made it better for photo ops.

After eating several hot dogs (more hot dogs I've ever eaten in my life time because I don't like hot dogs), we got to explore the Montauk Lighthouse. To be honest, it was ok. The view was a bit underwhelming. Why? You couldn't even walk on the lighthouse platform thing. You were restricted to the opening and the opening only. You couldn't even get good photos!

The only good thing about the lighthouse is that you couldn't see how far up you were when you were going up. I get really scared of heights. I went up a lighthouse in Cape May, NJ -- this light house was a lot taller too -- and you could see how far up your were. Plus I'm always scared I'm going to slip through the opening between each step.

The beach was probably the best spot. As you can see, I captured A LOT of pictures (unedited). While taking pictures, I noticed how badly I need a new camera. The OG, Mama Bear of the T series, Canon T1i, just isn't doing it for me anymore. Besides the point, this beach is really good for scenic purposes. I wouldn't recommended this beach for swimming or tanning. But do you.

As for my outfit, I decided to be comfy. I think what I wore was the perfect beachwear. I opted for a tropical graphic jersey tee. I rocked some American Apparel soft light denim runner shorts -- they scream "take me to the beach!" And of course, my go-to baseball cap. Really simple but why wouldn't it be?

Note To Self: When you go to Montauk/Hamptons, dress preppy and nautical or you'll stick out like a sore thumb.
